Imagine our local homeowner associations getting together often to exchange information and ideas. What if citizens grappling with issues of the day knew all the facts—or where to find them? Suppose meetings of public bodies were consistently well attended by residents passionate about improving community life. Such is the spirit and impetus of the South Fulton Civic Association.

Q&A
Is there a need for another civic organization in south Fulton?
Many issues and goals—quality education and environment and citizen involvement, for example—affect all communities. The SFCA is an umbrella under which many organizations can address the big issues in a big way. In unity, there is strength.
Will the SFCA infringe on homeowner associations and other organizations?
Absolutely not. There will always be a need for organizations that address the unique goals and challenges of local neighborhoods and communities. The SFCA’s interest is in being a resource to existing organizations—in helping existing organizations be a resource to each other—and in leveraging the power of our combined membership to create more impact than we can individually.
Is SFCA a political organization?
SFCA is a non-partisan organization. The organization will develop positions and help coordinate intercommunity responses and action on important issues, but will not endorse or formally support candidates for political office.
Who is eligible to join SFCA?
SFCA membership is open to voting-age residents and property owners of South Fulton as well as to all civic and other organizations and businesses located in or representing constituents in South Fulton.
